Surface Reflections

This Home collection is influenced heavily by a kaleidoscope’s ever changing geometric patterns. Individual motifs were made from mark making with everyday home items such as a binder clip, paper clip, eraser and bracelets. I combined the shapes in a 30 degree pie slice to create the initial repeat and reflected the pattern to make the kaleidoscope’s rosettes.

Vibrant colors from nature including sunsets and iridescent surfaces of butterflies inspired this collection’s palette.
