Cascading Blooms

This Home collection takes a contemporary approach to the floral pattern. Though inspired from my parents’ vintage bedding, I revamped the pattern to make it appropriate for a young adult home.

The collection takes a varied approach to design from hand painted impatiens to utilizing tulip petals as a paint brush to mark making with leaves and house items, the paintings were scanned into Photoshop and digitally manipulated.

The color palette uses colors not typically seen in flowers to give it a fun feel that resonates with its intended consumer base.
